About the Event
Mamma mia, racers… it’s almost MAR10 Day.
On Tuesday, March 10, 2026 from 6 to 9 p.m., I’m taking over the starting line at Famulari’s Pizzeria in Cainhoy for a Mario Kart 8 Deluxe tournament on the original Nintendo Switch. Only 16 racers can enter the bracket. When the grid is full, that’s it. No extra karts.
For $10, you lock in your place in the 16-player bracket, get a complimentary drink, and your shot at racing through every shell, shortcut, and photo finish until only one champion remains. This is head-to-head, win-and-advance, bragging-rights-for-a-year kind of racing.
And because it’s Tuesday, you can fuel up with 10-inch one-topping pizzas for just $6 while you wait for your next heat.
